If you’re purchasing GameSalad for institutional use, you’ll need enough licenses to cover the maximum number of concurrent users. Think of them as seat licenses, where each computer you’ll be using should have its own seat license, and any number of students can come and go and utilize that license, but each license can only be used by one computer at a time.
You can even utilize the same licenses on different computers within the same premises, so long as the licenses are being used at different times. For example, two different classrooms could share the same GameSalad licenses if Class A was using them in the morning and Class B was using them in the afternoon.
However — if a GameSalad license is in use on Computer #1, and Computer #2 attempts to open GameSalad using the same license, Computer #1 will be logged out.
This is why it’s important to have enough licenses for the maximum number of simultaneous users at a given time.
